Member of Life Beyond Tourism® Life Beyond Tourism® at the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Laurus al Duomo: At the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Laurus al Duomo takes place the pilot experiment of the orientation Life Beyond Tourism®, accordingly to the Life Beyond Tourism's Declaration of Intents signed on the 16th of March, 2008.
The orientation Life Beyond Tourism® considers each travel as a great opportunity of meeting different cultures, and consequently of mutual cultural understanding and respect. It is to us important that the relationship and the approach to our guests goes beyond the mere offer of commercial services, but it also become an opportunity to foster the deep understanding of the visited place, its past, its present, and its future development.
In order to contribute to offer our guests a real understanding of local traditions, local history, and local traditional knowledges, the Hotel provides informational documentation and tools such as: • The first 3 channels of the rooms' TV - that are dedicated to three different videos about the history and the monumental beauties of Florence. • Food and Wine tasting of traditional Florentine, Tuscan, and Italian products at our Chamber Breakfast.
